To install EPICS IO Server support for LabVIEW without the Datalogging and Supervisory Control Module installed, follow the steps below. Make sure to exit LabVIEW before following these steps.
1. Extract the ZIP file to a location on your hard drive
2. Run the NI_IO_Server_Provider_90\NI_IOSrvPvdr\LVRT_IOSrvPvdr_90.msi installer
3. Run the EPICSIOServer\EPICSSrvr.msi\EPICSSrvr.msi installer
4. Run the EPICSIOServer_Base\epics_base\epics_base.msi installer
5. Run the NI_IO_Server_Provider_90\NI_IOSrvPvdr\LVRT_IOSrvPvdr_90.msi installer
6. Open the services window by going go the Start >> Run window and typing "services.msc" (without the quotes)
7. Find "National Instruments Variable Engine" in the list, right-click and select Restart.

Once you launch LabVIEW you should be able to create a new EPICS IO Server.
